“Not a dealbreaker but can be used as a feature in a hierarchical model when things (classification, pretty much) are not straightforward”. Eg. strict attachment to dumb language rules can be a sign of irrelevancy (even in academic publications, where a truly good thinker can find subtle ways to trash them).
